Montreal, September 29th, 2008 – In Toronto there’s a design scene we maybe don’t know much about but it’s very dynamic and it’s got daring designers who’ve grasped the importance of making a name for themselves on the international scene.

Que ce soit avec les objets déjantés mais pertinents de Castor, les «meubles» conceptuels de Dorkenwald-Spitzer, les bibelots réinventés de Wendy Walgate, les explorations formelles de Scott Eunson, Toronto là encore marque des points.

Objets de découverte, donc, valeur d’exemple, ces créations se posent chez commissaires du 2 octobre 2008 jusqu’à la mi-novembre.

Avec la participation additionnelle de Rick Ivey, Lucas Brancalion, Jade Rude, In-Sun Kim, Bruno Billio et Chromoly.

Whether it be the apparently-dysfunctional-but-really-quite functional objects of Castor, the conceptual “furniture” of Dorkenwald-Spitzer, the reinvented ceramics of Wendy Walgate or the formal explorations of Scott Eunson, Toronto knows lots of ways to score.
